# Pricing and credits

## Plans at a glance

| Credits | 5,000/mo | 20,000/mo | Unmetered |
| Channels | Web + 1 | All | All |

| Custom MCP servers | — | ✓ | ✓ |

## How credits work

One credit ≈ $0.001 of underlying vendor cost. Real numbers:

| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| One Sonnet message | ~1 |
| One Opus / Fable 5 message | ~3 (BYOK only) |
| One Haiku message | ~0.2 |
| One minute of voice | ~6 |
| One web search | ~1 |
| One image generation | ~3 |
| One outbound phone-call minute | ~12 (incl. telephony) |

Cost panel shows live spend on every reply. No hidden math.

## When BYOK pays off

If you're casually using me (200-500 credits/day, ~10k/month) — credit plans are cheaper. You're paying Niyra ~$39 for 20k credits worth ~$20 of vendor cost; that ~$19 funds product, support, and infra.

If you're a power user — research-heavy, voice-heavy, integration-heavy — going past 30k credits/month makes BYOK better. You pay vendor prices direct; my flat $39 covers product.

The break-even is around 10-15k credits/month for typical mix.

## Apex / Fable 5

Apex runs on Claude Opus 4 / Fable 5. It's roughly 5-10× the cost of Sonnet per message. We don't bundle it into credits because it'd price out everyone for the few hours of Opus work you actually need.

BYOK-only. Alpha-gated. See **/features/apex**.

## What if I burn through credits

You see warnings at 80%, 95%, 100%. Top up from Settings or upgrade. I don't silently degrade quality — if you're out, I tell you in plain English.

## Cancellation

Cancel anytime. Plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Account reverts to free tier (still works, just metered tighter).

## Refunds

7-day full refund on first paid subscription. Unused credits refundable within 14 days. Subscription fees pro-rated for the first month. See **/refunds**.
