Concept

OAuth token refresh

Refreshing access tokens before they expire — proactive vs reactive.

OAuth tokens expire (usually 1 hour). Reactive refresh: refresh when a call fails. Proactive refresh: refresh 60s before expiry to avoid even one failure.

Niyra runs proactive refresh — token refresh daemon polls every 5 minutes.
